Retreeve is a curated home goods marketplace operating as a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Ruchika Agarwal, based in Surat, Gujarat, India. GSTIN: 24BSVPA6850J1ZD.

References to "Retreeve", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to this entity. References to "you" refer to any person visiting retreeve.in or placing an order through the site.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when necessary to fulfill your order, communicate with you, or respond to an enquiry. We do not collect information we don't need.

Order dataName, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order history.
Payment dataPayment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or banking credentials on our systems. See Section 04.
Enquiry dataName, email, phone, and message content when you contact us through the contact or trade enquiry forms.
Newsletter dataEmail address only, if you choose to subscribe to edit update notifications.
Technical dataBasic browser and device information processed by our hosting provider to serve the site. We do not use analytics tools or tracking scripts at this time.

How we use your information

Order fulfillmentTo process and deliver your order, send confirmation and tracking information, and handle returns or exchanges.
CommunicationTo respond to your enquiries, provide customer support, and send order-related updates. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages.
Edit notificationsIf you subscribe, to notify you when the edit changes or new objects arrive. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to ruchika@retreeve.in.
Legal complianceTo comply with applicable Indian law, including GST obligations and consumer protection requirements.

We do not use your personal information for profiling, automated decision-making, or targeted advertising.

Payment data

All payment transactions on retreeve.in are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your card numbers, UPI credentials, net banking passwords, or any other sensitive payment information.

Razorpay's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy, available at razorpay.com/privacy. By completing a payment on retreeve.in, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.

For cash on delivery orders, no financial data is collected digitally at the time of ordering.

Sharing your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

Delivery partnersYour name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with our courier and logistics partners solely to fulfill your order.
Payment processorTransaction-relevant data is shared with Razorpay as described in Section 04.
Legal requirementWhere required by Indian law, court order, or a lawful government request.

Cookies

Retreeve uses only functional cookies necessary for the site to operate — specifically, to maintain your shopping bag session and remember your preferences during a visit. These cookies are not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics platforms at this time. If this changes, this policy will be updated and you will be notified.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that doing so may affect your ability to add items to your bag or complete a purchase.

Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Order data is retained for a minimum of five years for GST and accounting compliance under Indian law. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 08.

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules, you have the right to:
